The Pinske Edge Solid Surface Fabrication Seminars are held in the state-of-art Pinske Edge fabrication shop in Plato, Minnesota. Come and try out all of the Pinske Edge tools and learn time-saving, quality fabrication methods from Tom Pinske and his crew. They'll answer all of your questions, you'll meet other independent fabricators, and you'll walk away ready to tackle a project on your own. During the seminar, you can videotape or take photos of seaming, routing, pinstriping... anything you want to have for a memory refresher or to show your friends back home. WHAT: 3 Day Seminars
WHEN: Courses run three days - Wednesday through Friday
(Wednesday, Thursday,& Friday - 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. )  -   The following 2008 dates still have availability:

Classes may also be scheduled upon request
WHERE: The Pinske Edge shop in Plato, Minnesota (45 miles west of Minneapolis-St. Paul airport on Hwy 212)
WHO: Class size is limited to approximately 4 students for this in-depth course. Participants must be somewhat experienced in a solid surface product.
CERTIFICATION: Upon passing this course, you will become Avonite, Staron and Affinity certified.  Other solid surface manufacturers also recognize class for certification, but you must independently check with them.
WHAT: Students will fabricate a vanity top with a coved backsplash and integral sink.  Precise, timesaving methods will be applied using Pinske Edge tools.

Beside basic routing and gluing, you'll use these Pinske Edge tools:

Seam Rite System, Circle Compass, Radius Template, Radius Templates, Drainboard Templates, Sink & Cooktop Template, and Thermoforming Oven.

You'll learn the following:

Pinstripes, Coved Backsplashes, Edge Details, Circles and Curves, Borders, Sheet Layout, Pricing Overview, Repair Briefing and Templating/Installing.
COST: Tuition is $1000.00 per person. You are responsible for your own travel, room and meals. (We'll be happy to provide you with area motel info upon request.)  The sample top made during class is for training purposes only and cannot be taken with you. To obtain the full benefit of this seminar, you may wish to purchase some of the tools you will be using during the class. We will be offering these tools at a 10% discount. Total tuition must be remitted when reserving your seminar space. Remember, you are learning from one of the best and most knowledgable fabrication shops in the industry today.

Additional fabricators from the same company may attend for only $800 if they work on the same project.

BRING:		 All tools and routers will be furnished. We recommend bringing your own tape measure, camera and video camera. Your purchased tools are yours to take or ship home.
