Drawer Notcher Machine
The Pinske Edge Drawer Notcher is designed to notch and drill your cabinet drawer boxes for undermount hardware quickly and easily - the process takes approximately 10 seconds per drawer!
Cut the notch and drill the hole by setting your drawer box over the cutter and activating the drill. By activating push buttons and stepping on a foot control, the cutter rises at the same time the drilling is taking place. There is a safety switch that will only allow this process to happen if the drawer box is properly located. A 3HP 3-Phase motor, available in 208-2309 or 460 Voltage, operates at 3450 RPM and rotates the cutter at 4000 RPM. As an upgrade, a totally enclosed motor is available (ask for more info on this). The speed at which the cutter is raised can be adjusted to suit your requirements. The rest of the machine is pneumatic driven. The hardware mounting hole is drilled with a hi-speed air drill that has a 6 MM (.236") drill bit. It requires 60-90 PSI and has a 3/8" chuck. This machine is also set up to a 4" diameter dust collection.
The 35 MM (1.37995") Cutter has replaceable inserts that can be rotated for longer life. This special design eliminates tear-out; it handles plywood drawer boxes and works great on hardwoods. NOTE - Other size cutters are available - call for more info.
More than 100 machines are in use. Many large cabinet manufacturers and drawer box makers have multiple units in various plants. This machine is manufactured in Plato, MN.
